As a music fan with a voracious appetite for on-line tunage , I have always been "equal opportunity" about where my discretionary music dollars are spent. Great music deserves to be heard no matter who creates it. However, every time some otherwise talented artist uses their celebrity status to advance their left-leaning views, I find myself wondering why I spend so much of my money ultimately supporting causes that are a complete 180 from my core beliefs.
That is why I am creating Republicanrock.com.
Republicanrock.com gives conservative artists a venue to share their music with likeminded fans, and those fans the opportunity to support these artists & show there is a place in the music industry for talented conservative artists. There are so many talented conservative artists struggling to make it, but far too often their incredible music is not given adequate exposure in the liberal-dominated rock, alternative, r&b, rap, and pop music industries. Their voices deserve to be heard loud and clear.
Each week we will give the entire spotlight to a talented conservative artist to strut their stuff. Republicanrock.com visitors will show their support by downloading the artist's music, sampling their merchandise, and spreading the word with the goal of creating a positive buzz for the artist.
